About this initiative.
Saudade Therapy is a free, mission-led initiative building an independent directory of therapists who work in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian or Montenegrin for people living abroad. It is in its pilot phase: the founding cohort of therapists is being assembled and reviewed, and the searchable directory launches after the required legal and operational disclosures are complete.
Who runs it
The pilot is run by its responsible operator, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina and reachable personally at mihailo@saudadetherapy.com; the general address for everything else is contact@saudadetherapy.com. A long-term nonprofit legal structure is being established, and this page will name the registered entity, its register number and its people the day registration completes.
How it is funded
It is volunteer-built, with small running costs. There are no investors, no sponsored listings, no lead-selling, no affiliate links and no advertising trackers — and search order will never be for sale. We will publish how the project is funded.
What Saudade Therapy does
- Collects structured professional information from therapists who apply.
- Checks it against authoritative sources — public registers, regulators, chambers, professional bodies.
- Records what was checked, against which source, and when.
- Publishes only information the therapist has explicitly approved.
- Distinguishes independently confirmed information from declared information, on every profile.
What Saudade Therapy does not do
- Collect credential documents — no diplomas, licences, identity documents or insurance certificates, ever.
- Provide therapy, or determine clinical suitability.
- Guarantee professional conduct or therapy outcomes.
- Guarantee cross-border eligibility — profiles show what is registered and declared; confirming eligibility remains the therapist's responsibility.
- Handle clinical records, sessions or payments — those stay entirely between client and therapist.
